 What makes this guitar special: Honoring the 50th anniversary of the first alder bodied / V neck constructed Stratocaster, this limited-run commemorative guitar captures all of the classic vintage stylings with modern construction features as well. The ultra-lightweight alder body is perfect for long playing sessions with fewer sore shoulders. The American Vintage single coil pickups perfectly capture the quintessential punchy Strat tones that players have come to love and expect. Plus, it comes in a really sharp looking white blonde and gold color combination that is guaranteed to capture some attention. It is still in great shape for a used instrument, comes with its original hard shell case, and features a professional setup so all you need to do is take it out of the case and tune it up.  

Condition: The guitar is in very good condition overall. It does possess some light surface scratches in the common playing areas, as well as some dings, dents, chips, and a small amount of finish wear near the headstock, but is in great shape for a nearly 10 year old used instrument. The vintage white blonde lacquer finish has aged down nicely to a slight yellow hue, with some brighter wear spots showing the guitar has been played. The frets show some light wear, but are still in great shape with tons of life left in them. The neck is straight and the truss rod functions perfectly. As a note, the previous owner was a smoker, and the guitar has a faint nicotine odor.

Body: Double cutaway, contoured, alder body in White Blonde finish. Single-ply white pickguard. Aged White control knobs and pickup covers. Gold commemorative “1957 – 2007” neck plate. Gold American Vintage synchronized tremolo bridge with adjustable saddles.
  
Neck: Soft V shape, one-piece Maple neck with skunk stripe. (.87” at the 1st fret, .90” at the 12th fret) 21 fret, 7.25” radius maple fingerboard with black dot inlays and black side dots. Gold vintage style sealed gear tuning machines. 1 11/16” nut width. 25.5” scale length. 

Electronics: 3 Fender American Vintage Single coil pickups. Master volume and dual tone controls. 3-way pickup selector switch.  

Weight: 7 lbs. 1.8 oz.

Playability/Sound: The soft V shaped neck is very comfortable to hold and has a fairly similar feel thickness-wise to Fender’s C shaped necks. The American Vintage pickups capture the classic Stratocaster sound, with plenty of low end punch, strong midrange emphasis, and unique “quack” in the 2nd and 4th position.
