Seeds were collected from my garden beginning in AUGUST 2015 air dried for 24-48 hours, then refrigerated and are ready to plant.

Plant 1/4 inch deep and about 1 inch apart in pots containing any well moistened potting mix, cover with plastic wrap and place in warm (not hot) area. Most seeds will germinate in 14-21 days, but may take longer. Once the seeds have started sprouting, remove the plastic wrap. Transplant to garden 18 - 24 inches apart when seedlings have 4-5 leaves. Typically 50% or less will bloom the following summer, with almost always 100% bloom by the second summer.

Please note that offspring will not be identical to the parents. Sometimes they look similar to one parent or the other, sometimes they look like a combination and sometimes they are completely different from either parent.

I have been hybridizing daylilies for 12 years and selling seeds for over 10 years. I will gladly ship seeds internationally to countries with NO restrictions and have done so successfully over the years.

See note above regarding international shipments.

I will be happy to answer any questions you may have about hybridizing and growing daylilies from seed.

Thank you!!
