White’s Electronics’ Spectrum XLT from its E-Series line is an extremely
versatile and easy to use metal detector built for all types of treasure hunters
and metal detector hobbyists. It features 5 search modes with 29 pro mode
options. The Spectrum XLT packs 5 standard search modes plus an additional 29
Pro option settings.
Target identification is enhanced via the large backlit
LCD screen. Large Target ID number readouts and White’s exclusive SpectraGraph
bar graph analysis enable fast and accurate identification of various types of
precious metals. Distinct icons positioned next to the VDI number conveniently
display possible target identities alongside the Target ID
measurements.
Audio tones can be adjusted for different pitches and threshold
settings to aid in the detection of targets. Additional pitch settings can be
enabled via the Voltage Controlled Oscillator option.
The XLT also features
AutoTrac ground tracking which continuously adjust ground balance settings as
mineralization levels in the terrain change. Trac View provides an easy way to
monitor ground balance changes when the XLT is configured for auto ground
balance tracking mode. Adjustments to the tracking recovery speed can also be
made with Trac Speed to specify how much and how often it responds to different
mineral levels in the ground.
The XLT uses 8 AA batteries via its standard battery holder kit.
Alternatively, enjoy up to 15 hours of uninterrupted treasure
hunting with an optional rechargeable Nickel Cadmium battery pack . . . not included.
Included in the standard package is a fully submersible 9.5 inch
concentric search coil, while special modes for the Bigfoot and Goldfoot
accessory coils to take full advantage of their unique characteristics and
purposes.
