Dragon Models Project: Cutaway 47011
Boeing 747-100 Display Model
Braniff International Airways, 747 Braniff Place N601BN

1:144 Scale   Length   Width
Boeing 747-100   19.25"   16.25"

In the launch item of Project Cutaway, an aircraft from Braniff is depicted. The actual aircraft is the 100th Boeing 747 ever built, a 747-127 with the code ‘N601BN’. This aircraft, variously known as "747 Braniff Place" or "The Most Exclusive Address in the Sky", was the airline’s flagship. The Project Cutaway model is pre-painted and it arrives as a handful of separate parts that are easily assembled within a minute. The minimal number of cleverly engineered components results in a stunning cutaway model that exposes many internal details of the plane. For instance, the seats inside are painted in the correct colors according to their cabin, while the cockpit, wings and engines also have cutaway sections. This is an accurate 1/144 scale model, and it comes with a metal stand so that it becomes a stunning desktop display piece.
