~ Walking Cane With Silver Mount Spirit Flask Top Birmingham 1924 ~ 

A silver mounted walking cane dating to the early 20th century. 

The silver mounted top is ornately engraved and doubles as a screw top for the integral spirit flask. 

The shaft of the cane is a dark ebonised wood and is mounted at the end with a brass ferrel. 

The silver mount is fully hallmarked but very worn. The inside of the screw top is also hallmarked as ‘Birmingham 1924’. 

~ Dimensions ~ 

The cane measures 3ft (91.5cm) long and weighs 150g. 

~ Condition ~ 

The silver is in great condition with only a couple of dings. The top screws on tightly, though cannot hold liquid without leaking. The engraving is clear but the hallmarks worn. The cane is in great condition with no cracks but it is a little worn in places as would be expected.
