Made by Ladislaw F. Prokop von Chrudim, a Czech instrument maker some 100 years ago.  The trumpet is in Db, a key that was used at the end of the Late Romantic period in opera and in Strauss.  This trumpet has been overhauled by a well acclaimed repairman.  Its valves have been rebuilt, the horn has no leaks and plays with an impeccably clear tone, with an especially clear and centered high Db.  It is of a professional standard and has been used in an orchestra, 100 years ago and recently.  As I am not a collector of rare trumpets, I offer this trumpet for sale at the price I believe it is worth. Some of the parts are not original, it has a one piece bell with a visible seam customary for the trumpets of that day.  It has a couple of tiny pings, unnoticeable.
