• A lovely quality antique gold plated and finely engine turned combined dip pen and propelling pencil with quill cutter. It has a maximum length of 3.55 in (90 mm) with the dip pen and pencil retracted and a maximum length of 4.65 in (118 mm) to the tip of the nib when the dip pen is fully extended. The pencil is incised VS which I assume is the Makers initials and the pen has a steel nib impressed 292 JOSEPH GILLOTTS PUBLIC PEN F. In addition, the quill cutter has a bell-shaped trademark symbol on the tang of the blade. The combination is in overall very good condition with no damage and would make a great addition to anyones collection. display or for use etc....
