'I'm a big fan of vintage mics, hardly use anything from recent years apart from the odd U87 on occasion. I've tried the Auditus Mod as a front of kit mic while tracking drums in a rather small room with a very punchy drum kit, going through my Toft ATB series desk, no EQ, no compression.

The result was simply a true image of clarity and detail throughout the spectrum. No harshness what so ever, as usually from a U87, but loads of true body representation and low end detail.
