Here’s a beautiful used Conn USA Model 1000B trumpet outfit complete with mouthpiece and original Conn hardshell case. The 1000B was formerly known as the Doc Severinsen signature trumpet before Doc started working with other companies. This horn is in very good used condition and is all ready to play right out of the case. The shiny rich lacquered brass finish is approx. 85-90% intact showing just some average wear from normal handling (please see pictures). The horn looks bright overall and it has that highly durable Conn gold lacquer.  This Conn 1000B trumpet features a rose brass bell, which has a higher copper content than a standard brass bell. Serial number is S80XXX, and the bell is engraved "1000B by CONN". This trumpet has smooth quick valves which operate nicely. All slides move freely and have just been lubricated. The build quality on this trumpet is top notch and Conn has been a well respected horn builder for over 100 years. This trumpet is in really good mechanical shape and is straight and solid. There are some little dings in the trumpet from normal usage but no major dents anywhere. This trumpet also features an adjustable 3rd slide ring, 1st slide saddle for easy tuning, and traditional lever style water keys.  This Conn 1000B Model has been recently play tested and inspected and is all ready to be played and enjoyed.  It plays very well as you would expect from a Conn.  It's very open blowing with a beautiful full singing sparkling  tone. This horn comes with its original brown Conn trumpet case, which is also in nice used condition and looking presentable.  The case has good working latches, walnut brown exterior, a light brown plush-lined interior, storage room for accessories and a mouthpiece slot. This hardshell case is very solid and  provides excellent protection for the horn.  You also get a sterilized mouthpiece, so you can get playing this nice horn instantly.
