Here we have a custom made replacement stem gear and spring for the SEIKO 6139-6002 and 6139-6005 Chronograph watches with the rotating inner ring.
This kit is designed to fit the stock 357612 stem and WILL NOT fit a generic stem. The original stem may be available from other ebay sellers but I don't have any, so please don't ask.
The new gear is made from rigid plastic but is a little weaker than the original steel gear. However, it does not rust like the original steel gear. Another bonus is that it will not strip the rotating ring like the original part.
When fitting this, you will also need to replace the crown gasket and clean out the crown tube area. The gasket supplied is a DJ0160B, which will fit the original crown or a suitable replacement. If an old gasket is left on the crown you will probably damage the gear in use.
I often have a slight delay shipping this kit as the process to make the part is quite difficult and I have a high failure rate during production.
