This jewel has been completely restored into its original condition.
NEW, CUSTOM MADE, plexiglass windows were made to replace the
scratched, original plexiglass windows.
The movement has been fully serviced and oiled and is ready to
be at your service for years!
Running ON THE SECOND, like a chronograph, and VERY Quiet
because of its 7 jewels!
You will almost be unable to find another piece in the condition this
one is in!
The most special thing about this BEAUTY is the design; the wood is
in a fantastic condition.
The same goes for all Brass parts, which shine like new.
A PERFECT match and balance of the clock makes it só
irresistable.
There are 4 BRONZE legs on which this beauty stands on.
Everything has been thought of when designing this timepiece.

Roman numbers for the hours and Arabic numbers for the minutes
on a silver plated dial, having black, floral decorations in between them.
The dial also has 60 partitions; one for each minute, making this a
very precise instrument.
Precise indeed, because this clock runs PERFECTLY ON TIME.
The centre of the clocks face comes in brilliant shining brass.
There are windows all around the clock to give you a view at this incredible,
highly JEWELED movement.
Even the closing mechanism of the "dome" has style......
It is locked by 2 brass handles (levers) on the base.
To finish the High Cosmetic standard, there is a Gilded Brass carriage handle
and 4 decorations on each corner, on the roof!
This German Schatz clock is in an absolute
S-T-U-N-N-I-N-G cosmetic AND functioning condition!
The chime will let you known what time it by playing its melody that
you have selected with the MELODY SELECTOR on the movement.
On a the 15 minute stage it plays 1/4th of the chime.
On the 30 minute stage it plays half the chime.
On the 45 minute stage it plays 3/4 of the chime and
On full hours it plays the complete chime.
After the chime (on full hours) it strikes the hours using 3 hammers
striking the amount of times corresponding with the time at that
moment.
The chime can be switched on/off by the same chime-selector inside
the clock.
This clock comes with a matching key.
The clock runs smoothly an PERFECTLY ON TIME because of its
balancing wheel movement, which means that is does NOT need a
levelled surface to keep running.
The movement also has a nice, quiet ticking.
On the movement you will find the text: seven (7) jewels.
The amount of jewels makes the quality of this time piece go so
much further!
The movement is also marked with: "AUG. SCHATZ UND SOHNE",
and "Germany".
Remark:This object is not new though in an absolute amazing
condition.
Expectable time related, cosmetic minor imperfections might occur.
This clock keeps accurate time, which is not often the case with
these type of clocks, however seldom mentioned!

object yourself.

The only mentionable cosmetic flaw, is that at the place of the locking handles,
for the dome, there is some loss of the coating.
