Here’s a nice used Getzen Capri trumpet outfit complete with Getzen hardshell case and mouthpiece. The silver plated finish is approx. 95% intact and has some average scratches and average surface wear from normal use. The silver plating is kind of dull and satin looking, leading me to believe that the previous owner used the wrong type of polish on the instrument. It's definitely not as shiny as a new horn but still holds a decent shine as the pictures show. The Getzen Capri model was designed to be a high quality advanced / intermediate model trumpet and the quality level of craftsmanship on this horn is top notch.  Serial number is A42XXX and it was built in the early 1980s according to Getzen serial # charts. Bell is engraved "CAPRI BY GETZEN" This trumpet has buttery smooth quick valves, with the valve plating intact. Getzen is known for their reliable fast pistons. All slides move freely and have just been lubricated. There are some small dings / a few little shallow dents in the horn, nothing major though. Check out the 12 photos to see what a good used horn this is. This trumpet also features a 1st slide trigger, an adjustable 3rd slide ring and Amado "push-button" style waterkeys. This Getzen Capri has been recently play tested and is all ready to be played and enjoyed.  It plays very well as you would expect from a quality Getzen instrument.  It's very easy blowing with a sweet beautiful tone. This one comes its original hardshell padded Getzen case, which has soft red plush lining, a double mouthpiece slot, storage room for accessories, and a sturdy handle.  The case is in good solid overall shape with some normal wear and scuffs on the exterior. Both latches work but one is no longer springy. This Getzen heavy-duty case provides excellent protection for the horn and is presentable. Included is a sterilized mouthpiece so you can start playing this nice instrument immediately. You also get the original Getzen care brochure.
