~ 1881-1902 Pattern Yeomanry Second Lieutenant's Tunic ~

The black velvet collar is decorated with one green braid stripe. 

The cuffs bear elaborate green cordage finished with black velvet, indicating the rank of second lieutenant. 

~ Dimensions ~ 

The tunic is 27.2 inches (69 cm) long (on the rear side) from the collar’s top to the lower edge of the tunic. 
The width from shoulder to shoulder is 15.5 inches (39.3 cm). 
The arm length (on the outside) from shoulder seam to the end of cuff is 25 inches (63.5 cm). 
The waist is 15.5 inches (39.3 cm) across.
The chest (when laid down flat) from armpit to armpit is 18 inches (45.7 cm) across. 
It weighs 1.3 kg.

~ Condition ~ 

The tunic is in good condition for its age.
There is some amount of repair stitching done over the years in different places. The most obvious is on the back of the tunic measuring around 4 cm in length.
The black velvet is worn in some places but still looks decent.
There are some minor moth holes as well.
The lining remains undamaged except for the inner collar part which is frayed.
