This one is clearcoated. The clearcoat is decent. It does not have a gloss shine. Some wet sanding and rubbing compound would probably help. It is usable as it is though.
I bought this one from Pearle. I never built this one, but I built others from this era. I'm not sure on the wood type.
Its an AANJ and fits RG and JEM parts. Ibanez hardware from MIJ Ibanez 24 fret guitars should fit. The routing works for an edge, edge low pro, edge pro and maybe others. The neck pocket is 56mm. This is the size used up to, but not including, the newer J Craft necks.
