This is a beautiful Dunhill Bruyere, and according to the information on pipephil.eu, dates to 1940. It is stamped as shape 114. I acquired this pipe from its original owner, who took very good care of it. The stamping is faint in some parts but mostly still visible (see photos). It is in very nice condition, and has been cleaned inside so that it will be ready to smoke as soon as you receive it. There is a thin layer of carbon in the bowl, to ease the break-in period. The stem is in wonderful condition, with there being only one very tiny mark on the top side. Tenon is perfectly tight, no looseness.
