Beautiful on its own with the lights on, once it gets dark this locket radiates an aqua glow! This antique silver round filigree prayer box / wish box with intricate pointed star design has been fitted with an orb that appears pale in daylight -- but absorbs UV light and releases it as a vibrant aqua glow in the dark! Locket is secured shut with a latch that can be opened freely. Item comes on a silver ball chain ready to be worn, and in its own silk draw string bag -- perfect for self storage or gift giving~
Size
Charm measures roughly 1 inch tall without connector bails. Silver plated ball chain is 24 inches in length. Please remove before bathing and swimming due to metal components.
How Glow Items Work
Locket needs to be charged in UV light before it can glow -- sunlight and blacklight will produce the longest, brightest glows. Just a few minutes of charge can produce a glow that lasts for hours! Longest glow is achieved when item is charged properly -- approximately 20 minutes in appropriate light source ( with locket open for better results ). Glow is brightest immediately upon entering darkness and gradually fades to a soft hum over the hours until item is recharged. Can be recharged over and over for years of enjoyment!
