3 x ANTIQUE VICTORIAN CARVED SHELL CAMEOS in WHITBY JET MOUNTS NYX, HEBE etc A collection of three antique natural shell cameos, each finely hand carved to depict Hebe feeding her father Zeus (in the form of an eagle), St George and Goddess of Night, Nyx, in polished Whitby jet mounts. A lovely little collection...very collectible & perfect for making into jewellery! CONDITION: Generally good. Probably original part of earrings, or similar. Slight signs of shell detail wear commensurate with age and use. Chips to jet on holes at top edge. DATE/MARKS: Around 1860/80. Not marked. DIMENSIONS: Each around 26 x 22 mm (1 inch = 25.4 mm).
