Here is the guitar that forced Gibson to bring a lawsuit against this Japanese company. Like so many other guitars that were copied by Japan, this one also eludes the quality craftsmanship that Gibson and others feared. The undeniable Gibson mustache head stock shape. The huge sweeping horn. Amazingly well built. The trapeze tail stock was professionally replaced with the famous Bigsby tremolo system. It was set up and plays very well. The back plate was lost and he made a replacement for what its' worth.I wasn't that concerned about it but it is on there now. Nice vintage sound and feel. It also has an amazing slide guitar sound. The large hollow body lends itself to playing unplugged like an acoustic guitar. There are not any breaks, cracks or repairs. There is very little use wear on the finish. A few minor scratches and some small nicks. It is a Very clean old piece for its' age. The only thing I would recommend would be a new set of strings upon arrival. Please view the photos for style, color and condition.
