Item Description

Please see all of my other items for sale . I run a business selling watches on my web site and also ebay user Myretrowatches but what i am selling here is my private collection , very well cared for and great condition , rare models . Funds are needed so they all have to go .

This sale is for an Omega Seamaster Chronometer F300Hz Electronic Watch

A very high grade watch and cutting edge technology of its time . Based around Bullova's Accutron system of using a tuning fork that is vibrated by electro magnets and the vibrations are used as a power source for the watch mechanical parts . The movement is a Mosaba ESA 9162 which is also used by IWC , Eterna , Tissot , Zenith , Certina , Baume and Rado as well as others . Circa 1969 to 1976 . The Omega is one of the most sought after and the best name you can get with this movement .

Swiss made and the collectors holy grail of F300 models as it is the model known as " Lobster Bracelet " . This model is a fine example in used but extremely nice condition and an exceptionally rare F300hz . The crystal is brand new and freshly fitted when the watch had a recent service . Featuring a handsome dial in silver , furnished with chrome batons and hands . A quick set day/date window is at 3 and the famous red Omega logo at 12 ( not sure of the language the day is in ) . In very good all round condition and had a very light re-brush . There are a couple of insignificant marks to the watch and one shallow dent on the first link of the bracelet at 12 o clock position . It will fit about 7 1/4" wrist on original links but has a buckle extension that allows up to an 8" wrist fitting . It is running perfectly and holding time ( hear the classic Accutron humming when you put it to your ear ) . Large dimensions all round on this serious man's retro watch.

Case Measures 39mm top to bottom , 43mm side to side ( without crown ) and 14mm depth
