Cosmetic is in good used condition.  Glass is spotless, clean and clear inside out.  Focusing is still smooth, aperture is snappy.  Zooming is fine, you feel a bit dry on lube...

This is the first version of 75-150mm Sankyo Kohki made in Komura brand.  The second version has no change in optic but has plastic parts....  This one has constant aperture and internal zooming design really up to professional level.  Rear lens group doesn't move at all to prevent dust coming in when zooming and maintain high optical quality through out the range.  Personally I like Komura lenses due to high built quality and excellent optics.  This lens is all metal built, no plastic or rubber at all.  You cannot find the same quality today.  Don't miss it if you like quality lenses.

Interesting thing about this lens.  There are two aperture rings on it.  The one on mount is what you use when you take photos, but it doesn't have clicks on each stop.  So, it is an constant changing aperture...  Video photographers love such design.  The second ring is on the body, and it has value marks at the other side, which you won't see it when you use the lens normally.  It presets the minimum aperture you can go.  I set it up to f32, which means you can go one stop further after f22 as the first aperture ring marks.  Well, you can set it to even smaller than f32 if you want to.
