Vintage Buddy L Moline Pressed Steel Corp. Texaco Tanker Truck Trailer - This truck would be so a cute vintage touch on shelf in a boy's room. Truck measures 24 inches long and 5.5 inches wide. It is a red color with several Texaco decals on it - one on each side of the trailer that says "Texaco," one on the back that says "Tour with Texaco" and and one on each door that has the Texaco Star emblem on it. All 8 wheels have Buddy L on them. This truck has lots of scratching/paint loss and also is missing some of a headlight and grill on front. This adds to the vintage feel of this piece. Would benefit from a thorough cleaning. It was made by Moline Pressed Steel Corp. in East Moline, Ill. which was the starting company for Buddy L. The son of the founder and president of Moline Pressed Steel Corp., Arthur Lundahl, was nicknamed Buddy L to distinguish him from another "Buddy" in the neighborhood.
