VIN# VB57J162069
V (Original V8 Car) B (210) 57 (Year)
I recently
bought out a large private car collection that was never advertised for sale.
I’m a licensed vintage auto appraiser and restoration shop owner, sometimes I
get lucky, this was one of those times. I bought this 57 210 and another 57
amongst many 67-72 C10 pickups and other vintage vehicles. I restore the
pickups as a specialty, I’m selling off some of the other vehicles from this
hoard. This 57 210 has been off the road
since 1986, stored inside. I got this car running/driving and stopping well enough
to drive on/off a car hauler, down the street, it moves under its own power.
This car is a project and not ready to travel at any length. Please watch the
entire video and view all the pictures on the link, they show condition well.
This car was a real “Barn Find” see pic of the two 57’s on my trailer with the
barn in the background. The other 57 sold , it was for sale at $19,500 , only lasted 2 days, sold full price locally, very similar condition.

MECHANICAL
The motor is a strong Big Block 396. The suffix code is “ET” which came back as a 67 or 68 Chevelle SS 396 original 325HP. This motor is built up, not sure what has been done to it other than it has an obvious gear drive, I pulled the valve cover, looks clean inside with Crane aluminum roller rockers. I estimate the motor at over 500HP. I installed a good Edelbrock 4 barrel carburetor, new battery, checked all fluids. Muncie 4 speed manual transmission. I assume this motor was installed in the early 80’s, and the car was not driven since. The radiator location makes it impossible for the hood to be latched correctly. The correct pieces are located in the trunk with various other parts, the radiator will have to be relocated or get the proper brackets for the inline 6 car that put the radiator in front of the core support. The hood will be tied down for shipment.
BODY
The body is extremely straight. No signs of wrecks or any serious damage. Car is in great shape for being 60 years old and un-restored. I tore out all the carpet and seats to take pics to show condition. Trunk is excellent. I simply can’t point out every flaw on a car like this, please view all the pictures in detail and establish condition for yourself.
I have a
clean clear Idaho state title issued in 1984 for this car, please watch the
video for more info on the title. Most of these cars are rusted beyond repair
or have been restored numerous times over the years. Very cool to own this car
that nobody has seen for decades.
I welcome 3rd
party inspections during not after the auction.
I accept bank to bank wire to my US Bank business account or cash in
person only within 3 days closed auction. No financing of any type. I have an

will delivery this car to the dock at Tacoma WA for international boat shipment
for an additional $500, I’m 5 hours away. I USPS Priority you the papers after
cleared payment in full. Car or papers don’t leave my shop until paid in
full. Also have a 55 2nd
series 3100 short bed from same collection on eBay $12,800.
