This is how it should look, the four orange arrows show the spot where the rare and impossible to find original rubber vibration buffers strip blocks belong, Also the large hockey puck black round rubber seal - part # A 1139872444 that is usually dried out shrunk cracked  or missing will be included in the sale.

This is the set you need to complete your show car, I collected these rare NOS parts over twenty years ago and only have two sets left, I called Mercedes dealers all over America and was only able to find one 12" inch strip of this rubber buffer pad, I cut the strip into sections matching my original 40,000 mile 1970 280SL buffer pads under the hood that were dry and brittle, Note = I cut the length just a bit longer for shrinkage that might of occurred over the years. The new ones are soft flexible and will last another forty plus years.
