PROJECT Takamine EF341 Acoustic Guitar (143)






Physical Condition
This guitar is in fair, but stable condition, but is being sold as a project as it needs some TLC before it's 100% ready to play. On the top of the body, there are three spots along the top edge where the guitar has been banged against something, chipping away some of the finish, which have been touched up with black paint. There are what seems to be two cracks, one slightly above the soundhole, and one below the pickguard, in the body, but they're not cracked all the way through as we have inspected the underside of the top with a mirror. This may need to be addressed. The bridge area is starting to belly slightly and also may need attention. It seems like the bridge has been glued back down at some point as well. There is a small piece of binding that has separated inside the soundhole. On the back of the guitar, there is no real damage, but  plenty of light scratches and scuffs and a few stray finish chips. On the back of the neck, there are numerous impressions and spots where the guitar has been leaned up against various surfaces. On the headstock, there are some more scratches present on the front and back, and some dings around the edges. The fingerboard is fairly clean, with only some light grime buildup that should be an easy cleanup. Otherwise, the guitar just has some scratches, scuffs, and dings typical of a black finish that has been heavily played. This one will be a GREAT player with just a bit of love!

Fretwear
The frets are in good condition and only show some minor wear. Could probably use a fret level in the future.

Action is medium low, but will need some attention before the guitar is at 100% playability.
