Souvenir of the 1926 celebration of Swiss National Day, the national holiday of Switzerland that commemorates the founding of the nation with the Federal Charter of 1291. The central design is a three-dimensional depiction of Helvetia, the female figure representing the nation of Switzerland, and her left shoulder bears the large cross found on the Swiss national flag and coat of arms.

The artist's signature (Huguenin) is on the left edge.

Measures 1 1/8" tall

Sold just as-found, unpolished, with original warm patina. In excellent condition, with no bends, breaks, hidden damage, or repairs. Original pin is fully-functional.
