Up-grade your VFO to a s9radio Custom

Many of you have probably seen the Custom s9radio VFO's I have listed over the last 20 years.  Both the Siltronix Model 90-3C & 80-3C are custom VFO's featuring a 40-Channel Analog Dial with an greatly improved frequency range and hi-drive tube-rig output.  If you own a Mark III Browning you'll want one of these Custom VFO's.  Don't short-change your classic radio by settling for anything less than a full-output s9radio Custom Siltronix VFO.


Tube rigs like a bit more drive than solid-state rigs.  The stock Siltronix VFOs had a compromised design.  The drive level output was reduced so they would not fry the solid-state rigs, leaving some of the tube-type radios such as the Brownings a bit starved for oscillator drive.  These s9radio Custom VFO's have been redesigned to compensate for this giving your Browning Mark III plenty of VFO output drive.

All of s9radio Custom VFOs have, been disassembled, cleaned, refitted with all the customizing components and then finally reassembled, calibrated and tested. A very labor intense process. I should be over $200 for this service due to the several hours for cleaning, re-greasing bearings and calibration. There is almost 200 hours of development time in the creation of the new very accurate 40-channel dial and to reconfigured electronics optimizing their performance for the Browning Golden Eagle Mark-III's and other tubes rigs requiring a Siltronix -3 freq output.
