Antique Rare Watchmakers' Roller Table Removing Tool
This tool is for removing roller tables from balance assemblies. I have never seen one quite like this. It has a plunger that pushes the staff away from the roller tool. The plunger is pushed by rotating the cam or snail device on the left. Interesting design. Marked A. F. Robbins and has a patent date of 1910. Appears to be well used, and may have had 5 adapters at some time instead of the present 3. I have not yet found this in any catalogs so I'm not sure. Probably still functional but to me this is of more interest as a rare and early tool.
