This vintage chronograph is in working order and has a superbly refinished dial. The diameter is 36 mm not counting the crown. It is engraved with the name of its former owner and the date and place of purchase.  It has the high grade Venus 150 movement, with column wheel. Reference 788 model

It is a heavy watch with a heavy solid rose 18K gold case. Two round pushers and three sub dials, makes it a tri-compax and it is are with the round pushers. It was manufactured in 1946 based on the serial number, and sold in 1948. Therefore it is a very early round pusher tri-compax of the model or reference 788.
