The Biro is Steel bodied with gold plated pushbutton, and gold clip,

The top of the biro near the pushbutton has an engraving

'MONTBLANC – NOBLESSE - GERMANY'

Gold single fluted clip – signifying it is the very early variant.

This push button mechanism which operates the biro to extend and retract the refill.

Mechanism is smooth and works wonderfully, with a nice mechanical action.

Gold push button has the white Montblanc star is set in black precious resin.

The biro is in excellent condition, with little or hardly any signs of use, no brassing, dinks, dents scratches or dents.

I can find nothing to criticise on it, it looks excellent, and looks stunning. The steel finish is extremely polished - looking almost chrome like in appearance.

The gold accents are really bright and shiny.

Overall the pen looks stunning,

A rare Biro in excellent condition.

It simply cannot fail to be noticed laid on a table or in the hand.

These pens use the standard Montblanc biro refills the original GIANT is supplied which still works well - in blue, as well as a brand new non franchised refill in black.

Please note the green adaptor on the refill - people charge in excess of £15 for these alone!

Modern refills, need the adaptor, that the present refill is fitted with - which clicks into modern refills - this is the normal practice for these older style pens.

This is a metal bodied pen - strong - light - slim -and a pleasure to hold and use.

Metal bodied they should last a lifetime, and give many years of service.

This pen is around 40 years old, and is still looks fantastic, a testimony to its' build quality.

No longer available - quality of these older pens is fantastic.

I do not sell FAKES, I take a lot of time and effort to identify the pens I sell, and they are all GENUINE and AUTHENTIC.

I take the time to try and describe them as accurately as possible, and take photographs to assist with any decision you may need to bid on the items or not.

I now tend to concentrate on the metal bodied pens throughout the range, as these are far stronger, wear well with age, and last much longer than their precious resin counterparts. They are also able to take abuse, and the day to day knocks, bumps and falls.

I ensure that they are supplied with a working cartridge or refill, and if not will say so, and assist in my listings with possible alternatives for future use.

If a box is supplied I will say so, otherwise all pens come well wrapped and packaged, as my feedback proves.

All pens are cleaned and inspected, and checked, prior to listing

Within the UK I post the items by Next Day signed for and charge the appropriate rate for this, using either brand new Jiffy Bags or good quality recycled ones. This ensures you get the pen very quickly, it is adequately insured for both parties, and is faster then First Class post. (There is about £1.00 difference by the time you add the insurance on first class and for the value of the items sent, Next Day service is the preferred option.

Internationally I ship by Air Sure only, this is door to door signed fully insured – I will not ship any other way, so please do not ask

With both postal options I provide the tracking number to you as soon as the item is posted

I will combine postage on any multiple items purchased
