Academy/Minicraft 4418 1/144 Saab AJ-37 Viggen Swedish Cold War Fighter This auction’s for one open (i.e. never sealed) kit as shown. This is Academy's 1993 reboxing of the Crown kit that dates back to about 1975. External detailing is raised but very restrained, the interior consists only of a pocket beneath the canopy but when built, this Viggen looks the part. Landing gear wells are blocked in and external stores consist of a pair of ECM pods, a centerline drop tank and a pair of air to surface missiles. Decals, in new condition, provide basic markings for the aircraft on the box-top, in overall natural metal finish. The box is in new condition and this kit's lived its entire life in a smoke-free house. Build it!
