D-Link DWL-8500AP Simultaneous Dual band 802.11 a/b/g Access Point

This access point is fully tested and working

It has been reset to factory defaults and the firmware upgraded to the latest official D-Link release (3.0.0.17) which provides better security including WPA-2 Personal and Enterprise.

A fully autonomous AP this unit does NOT require a console cable or D-Link managed switch in order to configure it. Simply acquire a DHCP address or use the inbuilt static address (10.90.90.91) and use the browser-based setup wizard to be up and going in minutes!

Supports up to 8 concurrent SSIDs per radio allowing for guest network provision etc.

Supplied with correct dual-band antennas and the all important wall mounting plate.

Power adapter is not included but can be powered using PoE. If required suitable power adapter available from eBay at around £6.50.

This is a used part and there are some light scuffs but these are cosmetic only and do not affect the function of the AP.
