This a full Alfa kit to boost wifi for caravans, motorhomes or boats. It is all brand new and includes a long range USB Tube U, 9dbi Omni directional antenna and router/hotspot to share the boosted signal with all wifi devices. They are all Alfa products.
This kit also comes with a compatible unlocked 3g dongle as a back up for any occasions on the road when wifi is not available. Although it is 3g it work remarkably well with the Alfa unit and, like the wifi, can be shared among devices.
Ideal for connecting iPads, iPhones, android tablets & phones as well as PCs and Macs. It can be set up from any of these devices via wifi, no cables needed. The hotspot can also be used for connecting any other wifi devices such as streaming TV & casting boxes & dongles.

The high performance, fibreglass, omni-directional outdoor antenna comes with a bracket and suckers for securing the antenna and the ability to set up and pack away quickly. See the alternative fixing bracket on my other listing. The antenna connects to 2.4 ghz 802.11 b/g/n wireless networks to 150mbps.
High power Alfa router repeater that allows you to share the boosted wifi signal with all your wifi devices i.e. Windows PCs, Apple & Linux systems and all other Apple devices - iPads, iPhones etc. Also works with android phones and tablets and any wifi operated TV boxes. The router will also repeat 3G data service via a USB dongle, see other advert for compatible dongle. The router is supplied with the latest firmware.
If you want the router/hotspot to be set up with your preferred network name and secured with a password of your choice I can configure this prior to posting.
The router comes with a 12 volt power lead so the system will work of you are not on a hook up and near a town to pick up pub or cafe wifi. A 240v mains adaptor is also included if you are on a site or hook up.
The Tube U comes with 5m of cable and also a software CD so the antenna can be connected directly to a PC too.
The dongle comes boxed, opened for unlocking. It is compatible with the router and suitable for contract or pay as you go data sims. The sim included is a new, pay as you go 3 data sim and I have also included a sim adapter kit as the dongle takes a standard size sim.
As motorhomers and caravanners we have tried and tested these set ups both in the UK and Europe. We put the kits together after trialling various items and finding some companies charging high prices for a very similar set up.
