A very high grade watch and cutting edge technology of its time . Based around Bullova's Accutron system of using a tuning fork that is vibrated by electro magnets and the vibrations are used as a power source for the watch mechanical parts . The movement is a Mosaba ESA 9162 which is also used by IWC , Eterna , Tissot , Zenith , Certina , Baume and Rado as well as others . Circa 1969 to 1976 . The Omega is one of the most sought after and the best name you can get with this movement .
Awesome build quality , case and bracelet hewed from solid stainless . It is heavy and large size watch that you know is on your wrist . This model is a fine example and rare being brand new old stock - in storage for 40 years . Immaculate condition and any marks will be from storage and negligible . Also features a rare dial in brushed silver with Italic numeral hour markers and quick set date window at 3 . Fully signed on Dial , movement , crown , back cover and bracelet . Serviced a couple of weeks ago and in perfect working order and holding time . Hear the classic Accutron hum when you put the watch to your ear . This watch fits a huge 8" wrist and large dimensions all round for this serious mans watch .
