These are great kits for learning about solar energy, volts and amps. The cells are very fragile so often people start learning with these small but usable cells before gaining experience and trying soldering the larger more expensive and powerful cells.
Each kit
* 1m 0.6mm Solder (nice thin solder - ideal for this sort of work)
* Flux Pen (great for making good connections when soldering - just dab the area you are joining)
* 5 meter x 2mm pre-tinned tabbing wire (ideal for joining solar cells)
* 1 Meter x 5mm busbar wire (ideal if you want to join strings of cells together)
* 1 1amp Schottky Diode (prevents batteries discharging)
Then just pick the number and size of panels to make up to 5 watts or 10 watts of solar charging
Solar cells:
Average Power (Watts): 19mm cells are 0.14 Wp ; 38mm cells are 0.28 Wp
Average Current (Amps): 19mm cells are 0.28 Imax ; 38mm cells are 0.56Imax
Average Voltage (Volts): 0.5 Vmax
