I bought it new in 2012. It is a fantastic bass, you get all the normal Jazz Bass tone plus twist a knob and the drummer says, "wow, that sounds like a piano", twist again and the guitarist says, "wow that sounds like a RIC". Comes with professional set up and brand new DR "Pure Blues" strings. These nickel strings have that fat warm mid-range punch. Bass is almost like new except for a little normal wear where my thumb goes you know what I mean. Other than that it is perfect.... except for that one thing. Yeah, look at the pictures. OK, I used to play with the Jersey Boys here in Vegas and one night my strap malfunctioned. I caught it just after it made contact with the stage. What the Friggin... Mother %^#$ Anyway ABSOLUTELY no other damage anywhere. There are no dead spots neck is straight everything works as it should.  It is purely cosmetic and you can't even see it from the front. The only reason I am selling it is to get the 5 string model. Comes with all the paperwork including a Fender cable and standard Fender flight case. Also, the same day I bought it I bought a brand new genuine Fender pick guard this is unopened and included. Any little dots you see on the photos are dust, blow and they are gone. The color is called Translucent Wine you can see the wood grain. No longer offered. Remember the regular Deluxe Jazz's you see out here are made in Mexico. Nothing against Mexico. Max the Corgi recommends this bass.
