Here is a rare, interesting and very attractive instrument I would guess from the 1920's or 30's made by De Prins Brothers of Antwerp . It is in amazingly good cosmetic condition and plays with a very warm strong tone. It has a Conn 6M style micro tuner on the crook. Marked Solist (not Soloist) and Gouden Medalie, De Prins Gebr, Antwerpen Belgie.

It plays as is but would benefit from a look over as I cannot play below low D at the moment.

I've only ever seen anything similar to this once and that was at the Musical Instrument Museum in Phoenix Arizona.

Just for clarification : I've had a few high / low pitch questions about this .

It is conventional modern pitch A = 440

If you'd like to view / play the saxophone I'm in Richmond Surrey 07944432539

Thanks for looking.
