I have been working with my hands for many years, everything from reborning to sewing, embroidery, and writing.I fell in love with the art of reborning many years ago.It started innocently enough, I wanted to create my own one of a kind reborn doll to model baby clothing that I created.My newly discovered passion consumed so much of my time that I stopped sewing & embroidering in order to devote my full attention to creating lifelike dolls.It has taking a lot of time and patience to discover my own techniques, and find my own creative niche. Although I am mostly noted for my ethnic babies, I create babies in every shade and color. I am fascinated with trying to capture lifelike tones. I recently discovered sculpting, and it has only deepened my love for babies. Molding a brick of clay into a realistic baby is a huge thrill.Although it is nowhere near easy, it is very rewarding.Moving forward I plan on producing One of a Kind sculpts, and silicone babies.Before I can fully transition I have a few more reborn babies to release in an effort to lighten my reborn kit collection. I am committed to producing beautiful Art Dolls.When you decide to adopt one of my babies know that a lot of time and attention to detail goes into each one. I take great pride in my work, and I am absolutely delighted to share my Art Dolls with you!
When I first receive a sculpt I unpackage it, inspect it, and give it a warm bath. I then dry the parts and lay them out so that I can decide if it will be a girl or a boy. Once that decision is made I then choose the ethnic background I wish to convey. Once ethnicity is determined I use great attention to ensure each wrinkle and crease are properly attended to. I also give attention to veins, and vessels, making sure the measure is age appropriate to the baby I am creating. I often view photos of real babies in position, and with facial expression of the baby that I am trying to create.I do not enhance my photos. I tend to take photos at different times so that you can see the true tone.Tone make appear different based on your monitor settings.

Baby Zaniyah was painted using Genesis heat set paint, that will not chip or fade over time with proper care. Her tone was achieved by applying many layers of paint. I added the final touch of realism by using heat set matte vanish. This creates a unique skin texture. Attention to detail was given to aspects of this beautiful baby girl.

 Zaniyah has gorgeous mohair! Her hair was rooted 1- 3 tiny hairs at a time then sealed twice with waterproof sealer.
I only use the best hair on my babies
Zaniyah was weighed using finely grounded glass beads, and poly fil.
No sand was used to create this little beauty, so she is safe to travel internationally. She comes from a smoke / pet free Nursery.
