A very high grade and cutting edge technology of its time. Based around Bullova's Accutron system of using tuning fork vibrated by electro magnets and the vibrations are used as power source for the watches mechanical parts. The Megasonic is Omegas own take on the tuning fork design and not to be confused with the Mosaba ESA 9162 movement. 

Swiss made with this fantastic build quality, being hewed out of solid stainless steel. This model is in good used condition with light scratches . The dial two tone , in blue with silver 3D frame, red Omega logo and chrome fittings. The dial is immaculate and the crystal is mark and scratch free but the 3d silver frame has some blemishes as you can see . Case and bracelet are excellent with only a few small marks or scratches . The bracelet has 15 links and fits up to a very large 7 1/2" wrist. It is running perfectly and holding time having just been serviced by the famous Dr Peter Wenzig (hears the classic and tells tale humming when you put it to your ear). This watch is a real investment and such a rare piece that you are unlikely to find one anywhere else and especially in this condition.
