Rare Tommasini 2007 Rapido

I've had the pleasure of owning this beautiful machine and rate Tommasini along with Colnago as one of the premium historical artisans of the Italian bike industry. Beautiful geometry very well balanced. This bike has beautiful weaved carbon with a wishbone connection into the BB, the paint job is stunning. The decals are a little worn and the odd paint scrape as you'd expect with an older frame. Front brake and gear cable rub markings on one side near head tube. The frame is not as stiff as current carbon bikes though at the time was a gem and also light. I've used this bike over the years in the Dolomites and French Alps.

I dropped the frame on my turbo trainer in 2014, there was minor damage around chainstay/BB. The frame was repaired by a carbon bike repair specialist in Surrey, England in 2015 who have an excellent reputation http://carbonbikerepair.co.uk/ really nice job at a price of £180. The work is so good you cannot tell this has been repaired without looking very carefully. Has not effected the ride in any manner, still rides as good as ever. I can provide detail of the work if requested.

I rarely use this bike these days, needs a new home. Frame was brought new by me and fitted with various components over the years.
