A pair of Victorian hand held ladies face screens dated 1870.
Fine turned ebony handles.
The screens are a thick card with gilt scalloped edging.
Both are painted with a countryside dog scene and signed W. Allsop 1870.

Unfortunately there is some water damage to the surfaces, a few white paint spots and some scuffs to the corners of the edges and to the green backing.
Both screens are slightly bowed.
Please look at the photos carefully as they show the condition well.

The ebony handles measure 24cm long
The screens are 23cm x 19cm
