A thaumatrope is a small card, held on opposite ends by pieces of string. An image is drawn on each side of the card, and when the strings are twirled quickly between the fingers the two pictures appear to combine into a single image due to persistence of vision.

It includes twelve historical reproductions, two blank Thaumatropes for you to draw your own and a special historical Booklet; All packed in a nice box set.
