The lining closest the skin has a 14" netted hem attached to provide the volum you can see in the skirt and the shape. The lining on top of that it the one directly underneath the top layer of the dress which is a full satin acetate layer.

Condition
Pre-owned - Very good. No straps but has internal loops for you to add a pair of your own then you can choose to wear it strapless as shown or with your own straps if preferred. The belt tie is missing but you could always add one of your own, in fact it could be of any colour to match your accessories or bridesmaids etc or you could leave it without. One belt loop is still attached.
It is inevitable you may come across as tiny nick in the fabric or a pull due to it's very delicate nature but there is nothing that will stand out or notice. The only thing I wanted to point out was the area to the bottom of the zip which has inevitably frayed a little due to it's location, this is shown in the last 2 pics at 2 distances so you can see it up close and what the effect is a bit further away. This is not a reflection of the condition of this beautifully kept dress. It is fresh, completely clean and mark free and ready to wear in every way. Of course, due to the delicate embellishment you will spot the odd loose thread or bead missing but again this is not anything that spoils the dress. I have only every had about 3 of these dresses in the past couple of years and they never hang around for long. The MARIA dress is remains a very desirable, extremely pretty & feminine favoured hard to come by bridal dress.
Some pics show the dress with an extra petticot added to enhance the 50'S vibe and show the skirt to a fuller effect. Pic 3 shows how the dress will fall naturally with nothing extra added. The extra underskirt will not be included, it has just been used for illustrative purposes only. You could always add one of your own if you prefer this look. You will receive the dress only. Accessories shown are NOT included.
