This is a Leitz Wetzlar classic - the 35mm 1:2.8 Summaron wide angle lens with the attaches rangefinder adjustment lenses to fit the Lieca M series film rangefinder cameras.  This lens, Serial Number 1627863 was manufactured in 1958, the first year of their manufacture and is one of only 122 such lenses manufactured that year.

The optics are in perfect condition with no scratches or damage. The diaphragm blades are free from oil and operate beautifully smoothly, as does the focusing ring. No noticeable scratches on the body of the lens or original lens cap.

Being sold together with the original lens cap and original case. The leather case shows some signs of use/wear (see photograph) and contains a fixed rear lens cap, which securely holds the lens assembly in the correct position. 

Has been owned from new by one careful owner and only rarely used.
