For sale is a Radio Systems Millenium Digital broadcast mixer/console. This is an RS-12 model with 12 input channels (10 analog, 2 digital). It has both analog and digital output modules. Rack mount power supply unit included.

Unit is tested and working, as described below.
It is used (pulled from working studio, and it spent nearly a year in storage). We are pro-audio professionals, not surplus recyclers, so we have the necessary knowledge to test this gear confidently.
  • We tested all the analog input channels on both the A and B inputs, using the (analog) program, monitor, and audition outputs; all combinations worked and passed audio through as intended.
  • We did NOT test every functional mode of every module. For example, each can be jumpered to function as a stereo or mono module, with either line or mic level input for each A or B. It would be a giant task to test all of those different modes on each module, since doing so would require many combinations of jumper selections for each module. So, we tested each module in whatever mode it was already set up for, and confirmed that it worked as intended for that mode. There are four modules currently set up for mic inputs, and 6 set up for line inputs (but, of course, that can be re-configured as desired by moving jumpers around).
  • We were unable to test the two digital input channels for lack of a source on hand.
  • We did not test the digital output module for lack of gear on hand.
  • Button lights turn on and off when selected, and selections perform their indicated tasks, except the On/Off buttons for the two left channels, which are a little sticky, but they do work with some fidgeting.
  • Due to the extensive complexity, we did not exhaustively test every extended feature (such as muting circuits, relay controls, and so on). Since our tests on other functions were successful, our best guess is that those additional functions are operational, but we cannot guarantee it.
Cosmetic condition is a bit scratched up, it has some physical wear from handling, and has tape/label residue on the palm-rest as typical for used boards. The main control board looks good. Some screws show a little rusting, but otherwise it's pretty nice.

A handful of input/output pin connectors can be included, as we managed to salvage some of the wiring when it was removed from service. It's not a lot of stuff, but it would be enough to throw a quick setup together. For a true install, you'd need to acquire more connectors for sure, and probably a few jumpers as well. A pdf of the manual is easily accessible online using the following search "RADIO SYSTEMS RS-12 Millenium Digital manual" (Sorry, ebay no longer allows links in auction descriptions). The manual is
easy to follow if you're familiar with this sort of gear; we used it as a wiring guide to set up our tests, and the info we needed was easily located.

A final note on terms:
We are not offering returns or refunds on this item. We have done our best to test this item to the best of our ability and describe the results as comprehensively as possible. Please read the testing results above and understand what was and was not tested. You are buying this unit as-is in the condition described. We cannot take responsibility for any other functions not described above, so you will have to take on the risk of fixing or doing without any such features that do not work. Furthermore, this is a complex piece of audio gear with an extensive array of adjustable features. It is currently set up in one of many possible configurations. It will be your responsibility to configure as desired, which typically requires adequate skills/knowledge, proper research in the manual, and careful work to accomplish.

Local pickup or delivery can be arranged. This unit can ship via UPS or Fedex in one standard box (for the power supply) and one oversize box (for the board). We can also arrange truck freight. We will package it carefully for safe shipping. Please message us for shipping estimate to your location. After purchase, request invoice to receive total with shipping cost. (Probably somewhere around $80-150, depending on your location).
