Description   Folio Society, London, 2002. Quarto; hardcover, illustrated boards and spine with gilt decorations and titles; 205pp., all edges gilt, with many illustrations. Fine in red solander box with gilt decorations. The publication of Queen Victoria's journals in 1858 made her a best-selling author almost immediately. Dedicated to her late husband, Victoria's diary entries detail her Highland holidays at Balmoral in Aberdeenshire, frequented by the royal family since 1848.. Limited edition of 1850 copies, this is no. 500, issued during the Golden Jubilee honouring Queen Elizabeth II.

  Condition: Book in Pristine condition. Bright clean and appears unread. Solander Box very good, just light shelf ware. (see Photos). Heavy book – may require additional postage

Our Opinion  Exceptionally well presented book, classic Folio society of very High quality Beautiful colour and B/W illustrations depicting Royal Life and Highland scenery. A beautiful Volume and a Rare Limited edition. In Fine condition.
