Up for auction is a 6309-729A project. I had intended to build my own 6309 but have too many projects on hand and found another 6309 at a great price so I'm letting this go. Original 6309 case is in good, serviceable condition. Some scratches normal with a watch this age, but nothing major. Case back is the same way. Crystal is in good shape with only a few minute scratches that you won't notice under normal viewing. Bezel moves and clicks. Since this was a 729A, the insert should be a Pepsi bezel, but it was toast when I got it. So I'm throwing in a Seiko replacement.

Crown and stem work and engage all functions of the watch, but it is tight. Also, the crown will not screw down. I think the tube may be too long, but I didn't want to mess with it. I wasn't going to take this one into water anyway, so it wasn't a major concern. Movement is a 6309 movement that was running and stopping intermittently. but when I went to photograph it, I notice that it is not running. Rotor turns freely as does the balance wheel so it may just need a good service. I'm including another, non-running, movement in case you need parts.

So, everything you need to get a 6309 up and running at a good price. The case itself is worth what I've started the auction for, and, if the movement just needs a cleaning, you're ahead of the game.
