50's 60's HARMONY BROADWAY ARCHTOP JAZZ BLUES GUITAR
FREE P&P.

One of Harmony's more upmarket models - check out the binding! Just set up and restrung with Phosphor-Bronze D'addario 10's for a warm bright acoustic tone and plays really nicely all the way up the fretboard with no dead notes and no buzzing. See next to last pic. This is a really good action for any acoustic let alone a vintage one. It does not need any work doing to it. This is ready to play as soon as you get it.

Sounds great for blues. if you want a jazzier sound put some flat wounds on. Versatile and lovely. This has the natural reverb of a good arch top and records beautifully. (One mic on the lower F-hole, one where the fretboard meets the body). It's light and resonant - old wood - awesome. It also has a lightly arched back as well - like the recently launched Taylor GS minis - for better projection.

Have a good look at the photos and ask any q's before hitting BIN.

New nut made of vintage bone - sounds better than the original. Binding has shrunk in one area - see next to last pic. Small tight crack on back at tail - see pic.  Wear on the wood of the fretboard on first three frets but frets are fine and have plenty of life left in them - see pic.

These guitars have a substantial neck, reinforced with a steel bar but no truss rod. Its  quite a fat neck so if you like skinny necks don't bid.

Top is taut and all braces are intact and firmly attached. The side of the F-hole with the brace running underneath is higher than the other side - a cosmetic consequence of the wood slowly drying out and settling over the years. Cosmetic - age related - not damage. No structural issues. See pic. It's not glaringly obvious on the photos.

Delivery will be in a large specially-ordered guitar box.

Floating bridge.
