Item Description

Please see all of my other items for sale . I run a business selling watches on my web site and also ebay user Myretrowatches but what i am selling here is my private collection , very well cared for and great condition , rare models . Funds are needed so they all have to go .

This sale is for a LONGINES ULTRA QUARTZ

An extremely rare and very very special watch , highly sought after by collectors . Circa 1971 and a direct competitor to Omegas Electroquartz f8192Hz Beta 21 watches . It features an incredible movement that is on the front cover of Pieter Doensen's book " Watch , History of the Modern Wrist Watch " . The only Cybernetic movement ever made and instead of an IC it used separate micro sized electronic parts . 14 transistors , 19 resistors and 7 capacitors have been shoe horned into this watch movement . Hardly any of these survive today and even fewer are actually running . Please check out the link

This really is the Holy Grail of all electronic watch collections and the rarest of the lot . Collectors of Omega f300Hz and Beta 21 watches dream of having one of these . The watch is in PERFECT working order , just been serviced by the famous Dr Peter Wenzig and holding time correctly .
Brand new old stock and NEVER worn before . The dial is champagne tone with gold/black hour markers and hands with quick set date at 3 . The crystal is acrylic and scratch free , housed in a heavy gold plated cushion shaped case . There is no damage , marks or scratches to the case , dial or back cover . The extra long Longines strap is genuine leather with reptile grain . Features very high build quality , sweeping second hand action and you will even feel it humming when worn . I can't stress enough how rare this watch is and it is NEVER going to devalue if kept in the same condition . Rare watches like this only go up in value and a very good investment .

Please be aware that no returns will be accepted on this if the movement or parts are any way tampered with or swapped . The movement has been secretly marked by my watch maker and it has also been timed and verified as perfect working order .

Case Measures 40mm top to bottom , 41mm side to side ( without crown ) and 12.8mm depth
