In over 22 years Origin Live have experimented with countless platter mats varying from felt, fiberglass, cork, graphite, carbon fiber, acrylic, PVC, MDF, aluminium and steel laminates etc. This is to name but a few. The mat is only 1.0mm thick which is well within the ability of most tonearm height adjusters. The material mix from which it is manufactured must remain confidential. To enable the mat to work with all types of platters, an ingenious tweak is included.
