Sari recycled silk ribbon, is made in India or Nepal, and  is repurposed sari silk fabric. The ends or  remnants of the Sari silk would otherwise be treated as trash, and sent to a landfill. This wonderful ability to create jobs for women otherwise not able to sustain an income, is what fair trade is all about. This sari silk is wonderful for trim, quilting, mixed media, altered art, embellishments, beading, scrapbooking, jewelry,  weaving thru openwork on sweaters, and more.
These are ribbons that vary in width, and frayed lightly on the edges, for a shabby chic look.
Other colors available, bigger quantities also available upon request.
Each skein, while the same colors, will be slightly different from the others.
